General

All players require a glove and water bottle. Players may wish to purchase their own batting helmets to ensure a good fit and to protect against the extremely low risk of hair lice being spread.

Face masks on helmets are mandatory for Timbits (U5/U7/U9) and above divisions effective 1 April, 2009.
 
Note: the safety of jewelry (ear rings, bracelets, piercings, necklaces) is left to the player/coach unless the umpire deems it to be an obvious risk.
 

Timbits (U5/U7/U9)

Learn to play divisions are provided with jerseys and visors/hats. Socks are not provided. Players may wear sweats/shorts of their choosing. Softball cleats are optional in timbits.

 

U11/ U13/U15/U17

Pelvic protectors are required for catchers and recommended for pitchers. Your coach may require/recommend them for additional players. Players will be issued jerseys and visors. Players must purchase black pants, sliding shorts, knee pads, socks, belts, and cleats. As well your colour choice for socks/belts may depend on whether you are on a Lazers or Fighting Saints team.

Softball face masks are required for pitchers and encouraged for infielders.
